The Batteries app extends the functionality of Magic Battery. This download is optional and not required to run any of my apps.

Apps on the Mac App Store run in a restricted Sandbox environment, which prevents them from reading battery information of connected Bluetooth devices. The Batteries app reads that sensor information and sends it to the main application, bridging that gap.
Does this app slow down my system?
Batteries is a very small app that runs in the background. It only acts when Magic Battery sends a request - processes it, and sends a response back. Without Magic Battery actively talking to it, the app does nothing at all.
Which apps require the Batteries app?
None, strictly speaking. Batteries extends the functionality of Magic Battery, but is entirely optional. Magic Battery can still read various battery levels of Bluetooth devices without it.
Is this app safe?
Like all my apps, Batteries collects no personal information. Although it is not published on the Mac App Store, it is signed with my Developer certificate and digitally notarized by Apple.
Which apps are supported?
The Batteries app can add additional functionality to Magic Battery.
